Welcome to Arthur Murray of Vancouver! We have convenient locations in Portland, OR Beaverton, OR and Vancouver, WA.
We specialize in American Smooth dances such as Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, and Vienesse Waltz as well as Latin dances such as Rumba, Cha Cha, East and West Coast Swing, Bolero and, of course, Wedding Choreography. We teach beginner through advanced levels, in addition to training for competition.
We welcome you to sign up for an introductory lesson -- then, depending on your preference and needs, we'll develop an Arthur Murray program just right for you. Through the proven Arthur Murray method of teaching dance, you'll have the opportunity to perfect your skills with our highly trained instructors.
**Private Lessons** Your personal instructor will be selected to best match your goals. Whether you're single or learning to dance as a couple, you'll get started in the basics fast. You can learn several dances or focus on one particular dance to maximize your execution of that single dance on the floor. We encourage you to learn multiple dances so that you can inter-relate similar steps in several dances and increase your versatility. Imagine not having to sit out another dance! Remember: You always proceed at your own pace and comfort level...with lessons that accommodate your busy schedule.
We offer weekly Group Classes to reinforce your private lessons. You will join other students at the same learning stage and continue to develop what you have learned in private lessons. You'll get to know other students and teachers in our Arthur Murray program and benefit from their diverse experience. Group Classes are a lot of fun and we encourage you to join us and switch partners as often as possible during your group classes. We encourage you to relax and have fun and ask questions during Group Classes.
